Goulburn this time of year is getting cold. Very cold. You wake up with frost over your whole car and maybe, just maybe, you might want to get back into bed. But you pull yourself out, perhaps helped with a boiling hot shower, and make your way down the Braidwood Road to Wakefield Park.
That's when the Sun comes out and the fun starts. Sure, in Winter it might take a couple of laps for the tyres to warm up, but with all that cold, dense air your engine will just sing with .....

We were greeted by a sunny day and a cool track when we arrived at Garry's backyard. Perfect conditions for ripping around the tight track the Wilmington's have gifted to the trackday community.
This is now my third visit to MDTC, and it appears that I have more fun with each day there. I've heard some drivers consider the relatively low v-max and short distance around the circuit as points of criticism. However it's these elements that also set MDTC apart from some of the larger circu.....

"Preaching to the Converted"
A couple of things go through your mind as you go spearing off the track in a race car that's not yours. First and foremost is "am I going to hit anything?". This is quickly followed by "How did I manage this?" In the interests of context (and storytelling) I will answer the last question last, and the first question last.
It was a sunny, busy day at the track when I arrived at Garry Wilmington's new Marulan Driver Training Cen.....

Last Friday, Circuit Club was invited to make a guest appearance on Hack - a daily journalism program on Triple J.
On the show, we talked about Anti-Hoon Laws, Speeding and how more focus needs to be put onto driver education in today's society in response to the constant drive to increase penalties and law enforcement.

OK, so I have decided to do something a little crazy. I have bought myself a Postie Bike and am going to ride it from the Blue Mountains to Mt Buffalo in VIC and then all the way back again.
The trip is going to total around 2,500kms, which is almost the distance from Sydney to Alice Springs! I'm heading down with a few friends, there are 4 of us in total, although we will meet more once we get down to Mt Buffalo.
Why? Well it's actually something many people do, and we are doing it to r.....
