Hi All,

I'm not sure that this message is in the right place but I am trying to find someone to install my racing harness.

I imagine I am looking for an engineer, but does anyone know of a shop in Sydney that I can take my car to for this?

Regards,
Adam

You can do it yourself. Where you cant use the factory seatbelt mounting points you need to fabricate a mount.

From memory you need a 3mm plate 50mmx75mm (need to check CAMS maunal) as a reinforcement. I just drilled holes, welded nuts to the plate, and bolted the harness to this (through a hole drilled in the body). I welded the plate to the body shell, but I'm sure you dont need to.

As for road registration, you'd need to check with the authorities as to regs, and if it can be owner certified, checked by them, or needs an engineer certification.

Thank for the response, I took the car to Vsport and they were very helpful.
